The long wait is over: starting tomorrow, the Audi A1 will be available at dealers in Germany for a test drive. Deliveries will simultaneously begin in Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland, followed by most other European markets from mid-September. With a starting price of €15,800, the A1 impresses with its progressive design, superb workmanship and state-of-the-art infotainment technologies. The new Audi offers a vast number of possibilities for customization and can be ordered in over 800 different exterior versions.

“Reports from our international dealers show us that interest in the A1 is exceeding our expectations considerably,” commented Peter Schwarzenbauer, Member of the Board of Management for Marketing and Sales at AUDI AG. “We will therefore increase our production capacity by 20 percent.” Audi had previously expected average production volumes of 100,000 A1 units per year, primarily for the European market at first. However the new Audi will now also be launched in the Asia-Pacific region and in South America in early 2011. “And we are now also thinking about bringing this generation of the A1 to China,” added Schwarzenbauer. A total of 50,000 units are scheduled to roll off the production line in Brussels by the end of 2010.

The Audi A1 will be launched with three appealing engine options: the 1.2 TFSI, the 1.4 TFSI and the 1.6 TDI. Each engine features direct injection, turbocharging and a start-stop system with braking energy recovery. The A1 is the only car in its segment that has a start-stop system together with an automatic transmission.

Even in advance of its market launch, the new Audi has caused quite a sensation with more than 150,000 prospective customers worldwide having registered to receive information about its market launch and the latest campaigns. Audi has also received the renowned “red dot award” for its direct marketing campaign for the A1 introduction. At the heart of the cross-media campaign was the circulation of a magazine series, also available online, that focused on the new model.

The A1 commercial has been broadcast on television this week featuring music from the hot new band Torpedo. The exclusive song, called “An Invention”, was produced by A1 brand ambassador Justin Timberlake and can be downloaded for free at www.audi.de/a1.

At the center of the instrument panel, is a big and clear digital display known as the Driver’s Information System (DIS). This system provides useful information like expected distance that can be covered with the existing amount of fuel; outside temperature and display key Satellite Navigation information in case the vehicle is fitted with a navigation system.
For passengers to enjoy a comfortable and luxurious ride, the vehicle is provided with many advanced features. They include speed sensing and power windows, height adjustable 3-point reel rear seat belts on both driver side and passenger side with pre-tensioners and front and rear power windows.

The Audi A7 car is also equipped with satellite navigation system, high quality map display, single CD player, dynamic route guidance, voice control and 2 SD memory card slots.

The seating arrangement in this car is one of its biggest plus points. To enhance comfort, the seats are equipped with seat ventilation or massage function to give the passengers a luxurious feel. The steering wheel of the Audi A7 can be adjusted by the driver to complement with his seat position.

There is optimum space for cargo as well. The rear seats can be folded to make additional space for luggage in this 4 seater Audi. Overall, the car provides front headroom of 1028 mm and rear head room of 944 mm. The space for luggage is 535 liters and 1390 liters with rear seats folded.
Exterior Features:

The 4 Seater Audi A7 is all about looks, luxury and comfort that very few other cars in this 4 seater cars class can provide. Audi lovers throng into their showrooms to get a sneak peak of the A7, all because of its sleek and extra stylish appearance which beats the looks of all other 4 seater cars. The external frame of the vehicle is built using light weight aluminum giving it a strong formation. One feature which pulls everyone’s attention at first glimpse is the single framed front grille which has horizontal slats with a touch of chrome and glossy black finish. The front lights are perfectly positioned near the grill which enhances the look of the front fascia. There are optional LED headlights that give better vision and account for minimal consumption of energy. The classic fog lights have been replaced with all-weather light function in the A7 Audi luxury sedan.

Then there is a lot to choose from when it comes to the exterior color for the luxury sedan Audi A7. The colors most preferred are the pearl or the metallic effect colors which gives a sleeker look to the vehicle. This 4 seater car has bold wheel arches and a long hood. The wheels are of 19″ alloy which enhance performance and further enhance the looks. All the wheels are filled with tubeless tires which enables a smoother drive.

The vehicle can attain a top speed of 155 mph and can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 6.3 seconds which is quite notable.
Safety Features:

The Audi A7 comes equipped with several safety features that ensure maximum safety of its occupants in the event of an accident or in any other untoward incident or situation. Advanced technology has been deployed for the development of the safety airbags which can adjust according to the level of the impact of collision. There are front and side airbags available for both front passenger and driver. In the event of a head on collision, the passengers are protected with the help of three-point inertia reel seat belts which then tighten to hold the passenger to his seat in a more firm manner so that minimal movement is caused. Another very important safety feature in the Audi A7 car is the presence of the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) which keeps the car under control in adverse driving conditions like bad weather or while trying to avoid unexpected barriers or objects on the road. The vehicle is also equipped with a Night Vision assistant and a high power camera mounted on the front grille which is useful for night driving.
Conclusion:

The Audi A7 stands out for its design and style. It is luxury at its best. Although price is little high at EUR51600, it provides all luxury features one can think of from a luxury sedan.   The power, safety, comforts and luxury that the vehicle provides is hard to compete with.

The Audi TT was introduced for the 2000 model year as a coupe, followed by a roadster in 2001. Both versions are based on Volkswagen's fourth-generation (1999 to 2006) Golf platform. Now seven years into its model cycle, the TT is no longer among the hottest draws on the market, but from an aesthetic standpoint, it remains one of the most distinctive cars on the road. In person, the Audi car looks just right, appearing aggressive and graceful at the same time. The rear boasts rounded flanks and, in coupe form, a cleanly arced roofline. Purposeful styling details are executed with ice-cold precision. The car was an instant classic, and its shape will be a topic of discussion for years.

The Audi TT has never been an exceptional performance car in a class where the G35 coupe, Z4 and Boxster set the standards, but the 2004 introduction of the 250-hp 3.2 model and its innovative Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) helped to change that perception, at least in the acceleration department. The DSG provides an excellent accompaniment to the V6, as it provides the convenience and smoothness of an automatic, along with near instantaneous downshifts (complete with rev matching) in its manual mode. Handling for the standard coupe is on the soft side, and in roadster form, the Audi car feels a bit heavy for a two-seater. On the positive side, the smooth-riding Audi TT has more real-world practicality than some competitors, not to mention fantastic interior trimmings and a full load of standard features.

Even with the addition of the 250-hp 3.2 model, the Audi TT coupe and roadster have a decidedly more relaxed personality than cars like the Boxster, Z4, G35, S2000 and 350Z. Will this be a disappointment to you? So long as you're not of the pedal-to-the-metal ilk, probably not. If carefree days on coastal highways and year-round use are in the forecast, the 2006 Audi TT could be a nice addition to your garage. However, bear in mind that an all-new TT will be along for 2007, so if it's important to you to be on the cutting edge of automotive fashion, you may want to wait a year.

Body Styles, Trim Levels and Options:
Coupe and roadster body styles are offered in three levels of trim based on engine output. Base 180-horsepower models come standard with a long list of features that includes automatic climate control, leather seats, a CD player, 16-inch wheels, HID headlights and a manual top on roadster versions. Midgrade 225-hp models add 17-inch wheels and a power-operated top on roadsters. Top-of-the-line 250-hp versions add a firmer suspension, minor exterior enhancements, a modified exhaust system and an aluminum shifter cover. Options on the Audi car include a Bose sound system, heated seats, a navigation system and 18-inch wheels and tires. The limited-edition SE model, introduced late in the model year, celebrates the 99th anniversary of the Tourist Trophy race, held on the Isle of Man and the inspiration for this two-seat Audi's name. Only 99 SE coupes and 99 SE roadsters will be produced and they'll all feature the 3.2 V6/DSG/quattro powertrain, unique paint treatment (black roofs on both versions), two-tone 18-inch wheels and every feature available on a TT except optional satellite radio.

Powertrains and Performance:
Three engines are available on the 2006 Audi TT. Front-wheel-drive coupes and roadsters get a 1.8-liter turbocharged inline four that generates 180 hp and 173 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic is standard; a six-speed manual is optional. Quattro all-wheel-drive models come with one of two engines. The first is a 225-hp version of the 1.8-liter four; it comes with a standard six-speed manual but a six-speed automatic is optional. The other choice is a 3.2-liter V6 that delivers 250 hp and 236 lb-ft of torque; it's coupled to Audi's six-speed Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG). This electronically controlled manual transmission provides the smoothness and convenience of an automatic along with the ability to perform quick manual shifts via steering wheel-mounted paddles.

Safety:
All TT models come with four-wheel antilock disc brakes and electronic stability control. Side and head airbags are standard, and Audi contends that the protection level of the roadster in a rollover is equal to that of the sport coupe. In government side-impact crash testing, the Audi TT received a perfect five stars for protection of front occupants.

Interior Design and Special Features:
Aluminum and leather dominate a decidedly industrial cabin design that blends retro and modern elements into one enticing package. A standard power glass wind blocker ensures that chilly nights along the beach are pleasant for roadster owners. Trunk capacity ranges from 6.4 cubic feet in quattro roadsters to 13.8 cubes in front-drive coupes.

Driving Impressions:
Driven back-to-back with its competitors, the TT's hefty curb weight and soft suspension are immediately evident, though the added horsepower and advanced transmission of the 250-hp, 3.2-liter model help the Audi TT keep up with peers like the G35 and Z4 when it comes to straight-line acceleration. The compliant suspension yields a blissfully secure ride, but pick up the pace and the TT tends to wallow through dips and turns. Overall, Audi has engineered an excellent compromise between comfort and performance, but for the most part, this is a cruiser not a bruiser.

2011 porsche 911

2011 porsche 911

Porsche this spring is introducing the limited porsch 911 , with prices starting at $81,300 for the Coupe and $91,300 for the Cabriolet.North American production will be limited to around 575 units, or about 30 percent of the worldwide allocation of 1,911 units.

The 911 is a special equipment package on the Porsche Carrera fitted with the 345-horsepower 3.6-liter flat-6 engine, which can be equipped with either a six-speed manual gearbox or the PDK seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.

Exterior highlights are provided by the 19-inch 911 Turbo II forged alloy wheels, the glossy metallic appearance of which perfectly complements the discreet elegance of these 911 models. In addition, the wheel rims provide an unobstructed view of the brake discs which are naturally paired with black-finished, four-piston aluminium monobloc fixed callipers.

Inside, the colour theme of the exterior continues with a black leather interior, and facing the driver is a thick-rimmed SportDesign steering wheel. The instrument cluster naturally remains in black. On the glove compartment lid, a badge testifies to the limited production run of the Porsche 911 Black Edition.By way of contrast, the decorative fascia strip, gear lever and air vents are finished in aluminium-look paint. The rear centre console is painted in the exterior colour.

The equipment package bundles a Bose surround-sound audio system with GPS-based nav, XM Satellite Radio and NavTraffic and the Porsche Communication Management touchscreen system.Porsche says the Black Edition package represents a savings of about $6,000 over a comparably equipped 911 Carrera.

The Lamborghini Gallardo Nera includes, as standard, a navigation system, rear-view camera, on-board computer, alarm system, lifting system and a made-to-measure vehicle cover. Optional equipment for the model includes the e gear automatic transmission, an engine hood with transparent glass panels, a Bluetooth-compatible radio and carbon ceramic brakes.

Like the Lamborghini Gallardo Coupé MY07, the Lamborghini Gallardo Nera boasts the established V10-cylinder engine with a displacement of 4,961 cc and an output of 382 kW (520 hp). It sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds (0 to 62 mph in 4 seconds), and reaches a top speed of 315 km/h (196 mph). The drive train of the mid-engine sports car includes permanent all-wheel drive, based on Lamborghini's proven VT (viscous traction) system.

Innovations of the Lamborghini Gallardo model year 07 (Coupé and Spyder)

As already mentioned, the Lamborghini Gallardo Nera is based on the Lamborghini Gallardo MY07. The Coupé and Spyder versions of Lamborghini's most successful model of all time enter the year 2007 with slight modifications. The serial production car's enhancements include the steering wheel, flattened on the underside with partially galvanised areas; the galvanised instrument circles; the bespoke vehicle cover and the skyroof in imitation leather (Coupé).

The base colour "Marrone Janus" and contrasting colours such as "Bianco Polar" and "Azzurro Australis" (also Spyder) are now available as colour options for the interior.

Two are the new items for the Coupé: carpets coloured in dark brown, orange and red, and the Interiorline Unicolor sportive.

Furthermore there are available the following options for Gallardo Modelyear 07: Alcantara roof lining and Alcantara pillers, small interior carbon package, steering wheel in suede or perforated leather.

The most significant change can, however, be found in the brakes: for the first time, the highly efficient carbon ceramic braking system, which is already available in the Lamborghini Murciélago, is now offered as an optional feature on the Gallardo range. For extremely high brake performance requirements, on request the vehicle can be equipped with carbon ceramic brakes measuring 380 mm x 36 mm with six piston brake calipers, which reduce the brake pedal pressure and shorten the braking distance. With the standard steel brakes already producing first class performance, the optional carbon ceramic brakes provide absolute insensitiveness to fading. Further advantages are brought by a considerable reduction in weight and greater durability, in addition to the brakes' attractive aesthetic appearance.

2011 kia sorento

2011 kia sorento

2011 Kia Sorento has a carlike unibody construction that Americans want and 2011 Kia Sorento has most of the other bases covered. Perhaps the most impressive, starting at about $ 20,000 to stand against the compact crossover, solid all-stars, like the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4.
2011 Kia Sorento is the most obvious advantage of these models is the nearest mid-size. For over two rivals, 2011 Kia Sorento advantage with optional third row of seats that are actually living adults for short trips, the RAV4′s third row, on the contrary, it is strictly for children, and CR-V is not an offer. The 2011 Kia Sorento also a selection of four-and six-cylinder engines, as  Toyota and Honda is a four-cylinder only.

2011 kia sorento

The base four-cylinder is only adequate, which is not surprising, given its 175 horses are responsible for moving more than £ 3,600 a crossover. Interestingly enough city, but 2011 Kia Sorento sounds a little strained at higher speeds, and it is not so good on gas as fuel efficient fours in this segment. Just a little disrespect for the second row seats that slide fore and aft as the 2011 Kia Sorento’s closest competitors.
Overall, however, that the2011 Kia Sorento is a very impressive effort. While in the past tend to be bought in the first place, because the values 2011 Kia Sorento is a legitimate candidate who happens to be a reasonable price. In addition to the aforementioned Honda and Toyota, we’d recommend the 2010 Chevy Equinox, Mazda CX-7 and 2011 Subaru Forester, as well as Kia’s smaller 201 Kia Sportage
